I would never imagine how having the smaller classroom and one on one could help my daughter grow academically. She is leaps and bounds farther ahead then we ever expected!

Our son’s knowledge has grown exponentially since the beginning of the year. His reading and math level are far above our expectations. He is truly excited about learning!

Our daughter was entering the 1st grade and lacking what she would need to succeed. Her self-esteem was suffering because she knew it. During summer tutoring at TPI Kids, they recommended DPS. Although skeptical at first, we took their advice and are blessed with the results. She not only has learned more, but is excited to go to school and her self-esteem is soaring!

The small class ensure that everyone know and cares about each other. Individual learn-ing and group learning allows each child to learn and benefit from others and set an example in different subjects. Dunn has lots of in/outdoor experiences and a calm non-chaotic atmosphere. Amazing Christian values are taught and applied. It is also very easy to communicate with the teachers and support staff.

Our experience with Dunn Preparatory School has been excellent! Our son has really excelled and it’s helped him gain confidence in areas where he was really struggling. He actually looks forward to going to school and learning new things. The small class size ensures us that he receives the attention and instruction he needs. The teachers are experienced, structured and kind. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this new school. We can not say enough good things about it!

We love Dunn Preparatory! Dunn has been a huge blessing for Hailey. She is not working at the 1st grade level though she is in 1st grade. We are not sure if she will be going to 2nd grade, if she is, we would love for her to be a Dunn. Ms. Kate and Ms. Josi have really helped Hailey in coping with all the transitions in her life and in moving forward with her school work. The thing I love the most is that the classroom is warm, inviting and has a loving atmosphere. Hailey looks forward to going to school.

We decided at the last minute to send Cole and Lily to Dunn Preparatory and we are so glad we did! They love this school and tell me every week. Cole has been able to advance in all areas of learning and Lily, a kindergartener is reading! We love the teachers and staff because they are so wonderful with the children. We can not imagine sending them anywhere else.

We loved the wonderful staff and environment at Woodland Early Childhood Center al-ready and when we heard that Dunn Preparatory offered multisensory learning, a smaller class size and the opportunity for children to learn based on their own needs we were ex-cited to learn more. After meeting Ms. Kate and Ms. Josi and previewing the curriculum we enrolled our son right away. It has been a perfect fit for him, he is making wonderful progress this year and most importantly he loves to come to school everyday.

My son started DP at the age of 7.  He has an IEP so I wanted to utilize it, but struggled to find a private school in the area that would cover majority of his tuition, but also fit our son's personality and academic needs. I knew I needed something unique as my son needs as fewer distractions as possible and extra assistance with learning whenever possible.

 I was about to give up when a neighbor told me about DP at WCC. I immediately met with the principal and I’m so glad that I did. That was 3 years ago now & academically my son has flourished, his confidence has bloomed year after year, and this is all due to the phenomenal teachers at DP. This was his last year at elementary school and when I got the news Jennifer was opening a middle I was so happy I cried. I/we cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. It's TRULY been a blessing to our family.

Dunn Prep has been such a blessing for us! The staff really care about the children as a whole and not just academically. The way things are taught at Dunn, the children seem to become self-motivated to learn and work on their school projects even at home!

We love the way that they teach social thinking and how to respect others as this is a valuable life skill. 

The communication is great between teachers and parents which is invaluable to us. Parents have also been invited to attend some presentations that the class has prepared which has been really nice as it’s a window into our children’s world at school, and to see how much they have learned and how they have progressed with presenting their work has been great!

 We couldn’t ask for a better school!

My daughter has been going to Dunn Prep for 2 years and when she first started, she was 1 year behind.  The positive reinforcement they gave her, along with the focused attention she got from having a 2-teacher support, got her back on grade level by the first year!  You are treated like family and every team member at Dunn who has a relationship with your child puts 100% of themselves to your child and wants nothing more but to see your child succeed. They know children learn differently and they have a way of knowing your child’s needs and they teach/ help your child that models their learning style so they are confident, happy learners!!  Dunn Prep has the best teachers who communicate great with family and I love the relationships that have blossomed!  Can’t wait for the middle school!

My husband and I got custody of his 2 great nieces in 2016. The girls were 5 and 6 yrs old and had been through some trauma. They had lived in inner city Columbus Ohio and had attended the head start program there and went to public school.  But what I noticed was they couldn't even spell their names. They didn't know the alphabet, colors, numbers, etc. So I homeschooled them for 6 months.  Caught them up on the basics.  We decided to enroll them in Dunn Prep.  Mostly because it was Christian based and small class sizes.  But Dunn Prep is way more than that! The school took the girls under their wings and helped them learn.  They loved on our girls and the girls just thrived.  Within months the girls were on grade level.  Each teacher that the girls had were so kind, knowledgeable, creative, and yet strict enough that the girls felt safe and confident.  We are now on year 4. Each teacher has been amazing!  The girls are at the top of the charts! We have since adopted them and they have become these strong, confident, outgoing young ladies and Dunn Prep has definitely had a lot to do with it. I highly recommend Dunn Prep to anyone.  It is an amazing school!
